Storyline ....Since Amazon didn't post an editorial review for this book, here's the description from the back of the book to help you decide if this book is for you: Early fronteir love story. "A swindler's lechery and greed drove luscious Treasure Ryan out of Tennessee in search of a new life with her kin down in Natchez. Only getting there meant a perlious trek down the wild and lawless trail they called the Nathez Trace. True, golden-haired Treasure knew how to ride and shoot, but she was innocent of the ways of men -- until a cocksure adventurer named Fortner Copeland came along. With his bare fists, Fortner fought for Treasure's honor, rescuing her from a mob of cutthroats. He was gallant and kind, but at night, under the open skies, his hard body laying so close to hers taught her passion -- and torment..."

An excellent giftbook for a loved oneTreasures Found In Passing: Inspiration For Life's Golden Years by retired United Methodist Minister the Reverend Dr. Leonard Mann is an engaging memoir composed of vignettes drawn from the long and varied life in service. Introspection on the nature of aging and meditative contemplations of middle age and beyond are the hallmark of this highly philosophical book. Treasures Found In Passing is rewarding, inspiring reading filled with unique insights, and would make an excellent giftbook for a loved one, friend or family member.

Happy Halloween!I found this book while looking for someway to introduce Halloween to my two year old. He would become afraid of the masks and costumes he'd seen and I wanted him to be fully prepared for his first trick or treating. After reading this book he has requested it several times a day and is now talking excitedly about Halloween and his costume. The book is sweet and funny and talks about many of the traditions of Halloween.

The Twelve Dancing Princesses (Golden Books)
Published in Library Binding by Western Pub Co (June, 1995)

A beautiful children's bookThis is one of the best books my five year old daughter and I have ever read. We first got it out of the library, but I just ordered it because it's a book I know we'll re-read hundreds of times. Everybody knows the Grimm's story: twelve princesses escape every night to go dancing. Their father, the king, doesn't know where they go, only that that in the morning their dancing shoes are in tatters. He offers the hand of one of his daughers in marriage to any suitor who can discover their secrets. Many try, and finally one succeeds. There are two wonderful things about this version. One is that it's clear at the end of the book that the daughter who is chosen doesn't marry the man who figured out their secret. She chooses him and plans to keep right on dancing after she gets married! The second great thing about this book is the illustrations, which are so beautiful, you just want to look at them again and again. More important, the princesses are all beautiful, but in exotic and interesting ways. No one size fits all Disneyesque beauties here. Each face is unique. One even wears glasses! Terrific book.
